About Beaver

Beaver Scouts are the youngest section in the Scout Group, for boys and girls aged 6-8 years.
We meet on Mondays 4.45 -6.15pm.

Beavers are given the opportunity to make friends, have fun, try new things, keep the promise,
help others, play games, go on visits, gain in confidence and share with others.

The Beaver Programme consists of 6 zones: Beliefs and Attitudes, Community, Fitness,
Creative, Global, Outdoor and Adventure.
We offer a wide range of activities suitable for this age group, that cover the programme
zones, also giving the opportunity for Beavers to gain challenge and activity badges.
We work in a large group as a colony or in small groups called lodges.

Beavers attend church parade at Holy Trinity on the first Sunday of the month during term time,
where they are encouraged to take an active part in the service.

The Beaver Promise is: I promise to do My best,
to be kind and helpful,
and to love God.

The Beaver Motto is : Be prepared.
