Along with this letter are number of useful information sheets and forms which you will have to complete. These can be found on the useful links page. Please take particular note of my email address, as I do all my communication on line. The forms are as follows: An introduction to the scout section Larkfield scouts camping and hiking kit list Data protection form - please complete and return Personal contact data and medical form - please complete and return Subs form - please complete and return with the sub money labelled with the scout's name Details on the promise badge. I believe a new prospective scout should be given the chance to try us out before committing their time and effort in becoming a fully fledged member of our troop. So to facilitate this, new scouts work through the requirements of the Promise Challenge Badge, with the final challenge to learn the scout promise and attend their own investiture. Buying of uniform can be done at anytime; if your child has come up direct from cubs then they must attend all our meetings in full cub uniform. The trousers are the same throughout all sections, but scouts wear shirts. I require smart shoes or black trainers when in uniform, however your child can always bring trainers to change into for the activities after flag break.
