Bouncy Castle

Group Sponsored Bounce

As I think most of you know the KM have
kindly donated their 18 ft bright yellow
bouncy castle to us and we gave it its
maiden bounce on Sunday 7th March,
after church parade. And what a
wonderful Sunday morning it was too - the
sun shone for us and loads of children
and parents came along to support the
group. In the hut was a very successful
tombola, tuck shop and refreshments
stall.

32 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts bounced
for 2 minutes each to raise much needed
funds - the overall winner was Nathan Fox
(Beaver) with 194 bounces,
congratulations to Nathan. Geraldine
Allison the KM Group Chairman also
came along to wish us well and to
officially "hand over" the keys to castle.

I have promised to hire the castle out to
other scout groups so it gets plenty of use
and raise some funds for 1st Larkfield.

Many thanks to Danielle (Akela) for organising Sunday and to all the parents that helped on the day to make it such a success. Please bring
your sponsor money to your leader asap and I will publish totals on the news ticker as soon as we have all the money in. One of the things
we are thinking of buying with the money raised is some new sports equipment for all the children to use.
